It concerns me for the overall strength and flexibility to put this knife into any circumstance including holding my body weight. I would only recommend this type of usage for the Genuine K-Bar. About as good a replica you are going to find
"Let me start by saying I served on active duty in the Marine Corps and was issued a genuine KBar. I also own a KBar Marine Corps fighting knife. While the Kbar is a superior knife, it is also about 4 times as expensive. That having been said, this is about as fine a replica as your going to find, especially at the price.I call it a replica because fake would not give this knife it's due respect.Looks wise it's almost identical. The handle is a bit thicker but the handle is leather and the color matches the original. I do not know if it has a full tang, but it appears to be very sturdy.The finish on the blade looks like the original although it is stainless steel not carbon as the original. All in all this is a nice looking and feeling knife and is a good replica of the KBar. I would reccomend this knife at the price, very pleased."
