Each solid metal 6" spike offers balanced precision for throwing or other emergency covert operations. All 3 spikes fit securely into the nylon sheath with adjustable straps for ankle or forearm fastening.
These spikes are very good and very sharp. The bad thing is the sheath does not cover the top of the pointy ends, and if they hit something too tough they will bend, this can be easily fixed using a pair of pliers. Overall awesome
I use these in a martial arts class and they work fine for beginner and student usage. Great for getting introduced into the throwing arts.
These are great. If you know what you are doing they stick well and go in & out of sheath nice. Sharp out of the box. I would recommend these for anyone who likes to throw spikes.
very good quality. just makes sure you know how to throw them for you will easily get hurt if u dont. Rinkachi recomended.
Quick, balanced, effective. Throws well and with accuracy. Spikes are sharp, so be careful if you band it to your forearm.....do it correctly and make sure it is not on the underside near the bend of the elbow. I have enjoyed this immensely...it is a true thrower.
These spikes are solid. Well made, and will not bend or break. Fly well and puncture boxes and things well
perfectly weighted. no problems with them spinning then thrown. (spikes are not supposed to spin when you throw them, look on youtube if you don't believe me.). even if they aren't supposed to spin its nice that they are pointed on both sides, makes them still usable if one side bends. i have had no problem with them bending, incredibly solid construction. the tips are VERY sharp. broke skin when i poked myself by accident. i have no complaints about this item.
nice, they were better and bigger then i thought. I have not tested them out yet due to work but i can not wait. Also they r strong and heavier then i thought as well
This is an outstanding product. I'd been eying them for a while, and threw them into a larger purchase I was making almost as an afterthought. However, these spikes were the item I was most pleased with from the order. They have a solid weight to them, and are extremely satisfying to throw, due to the fact that they strike point-first seventy percent of the time. The spikes are incredibly sturdy as well. (I accidentally hit a concrete block; the spike put a crater in it and came away virtually unscathed.) The sheath/holder was a welcome deviation from the usual throwaway piece: it holds up great, and maintains a firm grip wherever you strap it. One word of warning: these things get lost extremely easily in grass of any length. Due to their high-penetration design, they'll burrow themselves deep under the ground, almost parallel to the surface, making them nearly impossible to find. (Even if you watch them hit the ground.)

Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to order this product again. Plus, it's only eight dollars. It's pretty much a choice between a trip out to lunch or a set of throwing spikes you'll enjoy for years.
These guys were a awesome touch to my holloween custume. But I did not get a chance to throw them at any Ghouls LOL... kids don`t try this at home. They have a point on them that would sever just about anything. If thrown properly. And fast shipping. Thanks agian TrueSwords.
6$ for the best amateur throwers you will ever buy.

Craftsmanship? None really, just 3 straight spikes.
Simple designs, has been used since ancient China. (no, ninjas are not the first ones who used these)

If you are a beginner, these are definitely your first pick.
Why? no need to calculate the rotation. Just throw, in any forms you like, it will stick one way or another.

For "pros", it's fun, frustrating-free.

I hit a 2 feet square targets from 50 feet away. Impossible with traditional knives, for me at least.

great product! Well worth the price. Amazingly sharp and easy to throw. The only problem I have with them is that the paint and tips chip some. This shouldn't be a problem though unless you are like me, and your target is over gravel... still, amazing product. I want to get the cold steel torpedo now
I fell in love with these a few weeks ago when my friend bought some at the local mall, the only difference is he paid $20 for a set!! I got two sets for that price including shipping! I believe this design is based on Ikku ryu bo shuriken. If you know how to throw traditional bo shuriken these throw like a dream, if you don't these are a good place to start learning.

While the tips can bend a bit, a fine file takes them back to extreme sharpness with ease. I've thrown the one my friend let me borrow hundreds of times into plywood with concrete below if they didn't stick and I've only seen minor bends, never a break. Highly recommended, the price is wonderful! This is also the fastest shipping I've ever seen, ordered Tuesday night, received Thursday morning. True swords is now my one and only weapon supplier. Thank you!
I just went to a ninja acadamy and we learned how to use these. they are easier to use than you may think.
OK LET ME SAY THIS. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PURCHASES I HAVE EVER BOUGHT :D!!! I bought a set of three and i was so amazed..... i went and bout about 12 more! WOW!!!! the only problem is that they scratch up easily. (Trying to be a ninja) i went to my backyard (whish is twelve acres) and started throwing these! at the end of the day, i could make 2 land near the target out of 30 :D!!!! pretty much impossible to use withought intense training (unless you waant to stab them) they are the GREATEST!
I can throw these quite well with about 92% accuracy. I've got a small pair that I've used in my weekend dart league for a while now. These are too big for that, but they will make a great addition to my Ninja tools collection. Great stuff, thanks!
awsome spikes im not one of those collectors i like to play with them and the spikes did not fall out of the sheath on mine came in great condition and easy to throw exept it is true that they bend easily but they bed back easily too.
THESE ARE AWSOME i do have some problems with them though like the tips bend easy... but even so they were my first buy from his site & i gotta say im really impressed a great product for such a low price WOW i love this site im going 2 buy from here again you can be sure of that (overall 5-5)
Good size and decent weight to each spike. The holder was a problem but i fixed that up. Just take the upper (longer velcro strap) and fold it over so the strechable band is on the side where u put in the spikes. Pass the spikes under the strechable band and sew the band to the back of the holder to make each spike fit snuggly. A great addition to my arsenal :)
Awsome product. I am not a very good thrower, but still makes a good melee weapon. Perfect size. The sheath needs a little work (the needles go through it), but other than that it is perfect.
these rock! i exspected them to be as thin as senbons real sharp i had to get stiches cuse one went into my hand the stap on the other hand should be like a small pouch with a flap to close because the spikes fall out easily and they rip the slealth easly please true swords make the sealth into a pouch my seleath riped so i hold my spikes in a weapon pack that hangs from my waist but other than that these are great
These are amazing. Although they appear shaped in a circle in the photo, they are not actually circular, but have slightly flat opposite sides. The tips are extremely sharp, and one of the spikes pierced my big toe because the nylon sheath did not hold it securely when i turned the sheath upside down while it was on my arm. My only request is to make a flap to cover the spikes because they fall out REALLY easily. Otherwise, everything is excellent about this item. I plan to buy several more sets in the future, and that feature will really help! Thank you, TrueSwords for this great item!

4.5/5
Amazing quality, and very cheap. My one concern is that it's very easy to poke yourself while wearing the bracer. They take time to get used to, but they're worth it. Many a styrofoam target has met its end due to these.
I just got these...and they are incredible. Compared to the throwing knives, these are very easy to throw. The only problem is that they are so sharp that they go underground and are really hard to find. I lost all mine the second day but I think that it was worth it. I am going to order more and use a strong magnet on my grass to help me find them. :D GET THESE IF YOU DON'T FAIL AT LIFE!!!!!1111
I just got these today there awsome! will be fun when can throw them good need a soft target or youll have to keep sharpening.Im getting a2nd set!
probably not the best but VERY fun, my issue is that they are maybe a little too sharp, i was holding one and it slipped and sliced my thumb a little bit. no big deal
buy these if your looking for something fun
and Damien, you will use these on your stealth assassination missions (DUH!)
OMG....these babys rock! i just got them today. (they got here VERY quickly) i love the way they feel when released. they're nicely balanced and sharp. the arm strap is a little uncomfortable, but i can deal. 5/5 stars!!! the tips are small and sharp so i wouldnt recommend throwing them at a tree. get a blow gun target. i did and the target is nice and sturdy for these and the tips wont break.
Sharp and sturdy. For the price, these are a fun piece of Ninja gear. When will you ever use them? Who cares. Ninjas are cool!
The spikes look good and fly good... when thrown right! Be Careful against hard objects (trees) I broke a tip :(
vERY gOOD !

THERE SO GREAT, THEY FEEL VERY WELL IN THE HAND & FOR THE pRICE ITS A Must BUY!!!
These are really awsome! I bought some along with some throwing knifes in order to practice my distance throwing. They really help considering both sides are really sharp and stick to the target with ease. I recomend these for a inexpensive and fun throwing weapon!
Never used throwing spikes before but bought these to fill up an order for the free shipping. First throw I put one in the bullseye, I know beginners luck because it took several throws to do that again. I do enjoy these though. Good for a beginner like me but watch those points, they are sharp. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the sheath. IMHO the sheath is too thin and backwards (of course you could lengthen and shorten the straps), I think the exit should be toward the hand for fast side throwing. I like these enough that I am trying to order more but they are out of stock. I may make a leather sheath, as another reviewer mentioned, that fits on my arm the way I want it.
Very solid factory tips bent easy against hard wood, but nothing a file and my lansky puck didn't fix!!
now I have had no problem with them.
but the wrist case I had to modify the material is thin at the top so when you fold it over the darts WILL POKE YOU IF you do not take some good thick tape electrical exc and wrap the fold over realy nice and thick. The case is a little uncomfortable but can be modified over all for the price I say 7 out of 10..
I was overall very satisfied with these spikes. The size and balance are excellent. The sheath is pretty small. I don't see it fitting around very many forearms or calves for that matter. And it can only be worn one way. Otherwise good product.
Good for beginners. Be careful about hitting concrete or similar hard walls/floors. Hard to sharpen and hard to make pointy again. Practice til you get something better.
i thought they were round but the are more of a flat oval shape. nice weight and pretty accurate too. the holder that comes with them isn't the greatest but holds them none the less. the tips bend pretty easily but aren't hard to straighten. a good buy for just 8 bucks.
each one i got was a different length. but that doesn't really matter.. they work pretty damn well with enough practice! not perfectly tubular, more oval ish... good buy!
the sheath i coulda done without i'll never use it but the actual spikes are sweet. not really sure on the best technique of throwing them but i guess thats half the fun is learning. fast shipping and good product....sheath is crap lol
great spikes for the price... takes a little getting used to when you wanna throw them to get them to stick every time... only weird thing is that they are not all the same length. good buy though will most likely but them again... i suggest getting them just for fun.
Very easy to throw and they stick very good. But be sure to keep an eye where they go, they are very easy to lose.
The three come REALLY sharp. I bought a dart board to throw them at and all you really have to do is drop it lightly on the board and it'll stick. First purchase from Trueswords, not my last.
These spikes are super sharp! The velcro pouch it comes in could've been designed better, though. The reason why is because the spikes could fall out fairly easy and they are so sharp, that they can cut up your wrist. It's cool that there is a point on both sides of the spikes so they will stick better if you don't throw them properly, but you just gotta be careful with them.
Expected them to be round but the oval'ish shape dose fit good in your hands.

Typical nylon case that came with it expect it to damage easily spikes will stabe through case easily mainly at the bottom.. also it is a verry good fit to my leg almost like they are not even there.

tips came bent verry slightley easily fixed other than that they are balanced wounderfuly. seam to be purty sturdy all though with tips bending so easily will probly ware down and may break with constant use

all in all verry good buy and cheap price
Very nice product and very cheap the throw well and have a nice feel while trowing them and also VERY SHARP but the strap sucks it's uncomfortable and doesn't do a very good job of holding the spikes they can easly slide out if you give it a good jerk

Had one fall out and hit the back of my other hand
didn't feel good

good product but the strap sucks
friggen sweet altho easy to loos if u ant careful where u at heh heh especialy if u miss the target and hit the sand box lol
fun to throw, and incredibally easy. I think these are easier to throw than knives by far, since they have two ends, and you hold them by the middle, so there is a lot less rotation. only problems are the tips bend pretty fast so get a whet stone, they get lost quite easily, and since they are double ended I poked my hand hard trying to put two down.
They are nice to throw at first. They do hit pretty hard. I actually sent one through a box pretty easily but they do take a few minutes of getting used to. If u throw all three at once in a bundle they blow holes through a box. Only issue is the dull pretty easily and sharpening them is a bit of a hassle and takes away that nice black finish. though after dipping the now silver tips in red acrylic they look pretty sweet too.

Overall, good buy and cheaper than in the stores around here. They throw pretty damn well after u get used to them and they can slide right into the ground so I don't suggest them for outdoor use. If you are willing to sharpen them as they get bent tips or dull tips then you are making a good choice. Otherwise go for a nice throwing knife.
Haven't gotten to throw them yet, but these babies are SHARP. I tapped my knuckle on one taking the straps off and nearly bled! One came shorter than the other two, but great for the price!
they are great........hard to throw and are sharp but once u get the hang of it they are fricken awsome ill give it a 4 since the thing that goes around your rist or leg is uncofortable and is dosent fit really well
I just want to say that for anyone thinking of buying these...READ THE TITLE! It doesn't say elite for the fun of it. They are hard to use, but very rewarding when you get the hang of it. DO NOT use in tall grass. I am not exaggerating when I say that they are better at disappearing than the ninjas that use them! They will slide into the grass and even the ground if they land at the right angle! Use on dirt only if you can help it. Even the strap is tough to get use to. I had to look on the website to how to even put it on. I've found several ways to through it, but sideways is not one of them. They are very fun to use, and Overall, I'm very pleased.
ok very hard to throw not that round and kinda heavy the strap it came with is to big but good because the tips r sharp just one complant one of them came with a dull not sharp tip
Bought these awhile ago and am planning on getting another set since I lost my first one. Very good set, well balanced and sharp. The tips do bend easily however, but easy fix with some pliers and a sharpener, but my biggest problem is the sheath. Would definitely recommend getting a custom for the spikes, as the Velcro fell apart easily and the straps sucked. Also the spikes didn't stay in the sheath very well, they liked to slide out if I moved my arm too much, and I have stabbed myself a few times due to this. Overall, great spikes, crappy sheath, so new one recommended.
Good weight good for throwing. Well balanced. Only problem is the nylon sheath for the arm is not designed for such sharp objects. The spikes pierce through and into the arm and the Velcro feels like it is on backwards and cuts into the wrist. The tips of the spikes were needle thin and bent through shipping. I'll make my own sheath from leather which was a goal anyways.
bought them, they showed up 7 days later. Points bent on first few throws at a solid oak door, but easily fixed by sharpener. Good weight distribution. I spent some time with them and can throw them from the sheath on my wrist now. Self defense application gives the product a solid three stars
Orderd. Pair if these lighting spikes the other day, shipping was 4 days, when i received them, one side was sharp the other a small bend or blunt (on all), weighted good, throws well watever ur style may be, they alot more deadly if u dont throw them like they do in that video, lol, pouch that they fit in is nice, holds up well and fits to my legs and wrist rather well, these get a three star because, there thinkness limits them to pentitration, and they didnt come sharp
I managed to get one them to stick. The only problem I had with them if the grass is kinda tall you will lose them. I put a strong magnet on a string run though the grass about an hour trying to find the missing spike. Well I think they still look cool anyway.
okay product... the webbing sheath doesn't have any backing on it to keep it sturdy on the arm during use. It tends to scrunch up after moving your arm around and taking the spikes in and out. The item I received has a red logo printed on the front of the sheath that isn't shown in the picture. The velcro adjustment isn't all that snug, but that can be modified with a little doctoring of the straps.
The tips were bent and they come out of the holder very easily. Dropped one on my foot on accident. That didn't feel to great, lol. The tips can befozed fairly easily so overall, a three out of five.

~From my iphone~
There nice, the case when u put them in they fall out, and one almost hit my no no area. the tip bent on basa wood _._"
Very nice to throw, perfect size, perfect amount of pointyness, but 3 isnt enough. The minute I started throwing them, I lost one. It took me about 3 minutes to find but I knew this wasn't going to be the only time. Its been about 2 weeks and I have 1 left. I'm very dissapointed that I only bought 3, and lost them. I recommend for you to buy 2 or 3 sets of these if you have enough money, otherwise just buy a throwing knife.
I have 10 sets and all of them will not come out of the sheath and are poor quality!!! Zero quality control at Budk 50% of their items will come to you defective!!
I have ordered literally dozens or more products from BudK. I have also been ordering for at least a decade. These throwers are complete crap. First throw....I fishhooked the point of the first thrower. second throw.....broke the tip off the dart. Third throw....blunted the pointed severly. and all thrown into a nstandard horse hair dart board. Im sorry BudK...weak sace. And a shameful representation of your FINE liner of goods. I dont ever wine....but GEEEEEZ!!!
I knew getting these was a bad idea but I was already making a large purchase and thought $9.99, why not? Tips bent the first throw at a 4x4 with plywood backing and plywood covered floor. It wasn't like we were bouncing them off of concrete. Very awkward balance because of their length. Maybe if they were longer and made of a more sturdy metal. Spend the extra $10 or $20 and get a set of throwing knives.
We won't be able to ship this item until we receive more stock. But don't worry, we've found a similar item that's ready to ship now.
